Alchemer custom template surveys are for easy integration into Fuel Cycle. Access Alchemer by going to Surveys > Launch Alchemer. Once inside Alchemer, click the Create New button to Create a Survey. Follow their instructions for creating a new survey template with the important distinctions found below for Fuel Cycle customers.
Create your Alchemer survey as usual.
- Under the Tools tab, select Survey Settings.
- Check the box to use Dynamic Numbering.
- Check the box to make this survey a template.
Under the Build Tab
Add a Webhook and Redirect to the Thank You Page located at the bottom of the page.
Webhook
- Click Action.
- Add Webhook.
- Method: select Post.
- URL: make sure to set it to HTTPS:// and copy and paste the following: fuelcyclecore.com/util/surveyGizmo/redirectProxy
- Fields To Pass: use the following settings:
Redirect
- Click Action then add URL Redirect. A new window will display with a few options.
- Disqualify Respondent: select No.
- URL: make sure to set it to HTTPS:// and copy and paste the following: fuelcyclecore.com/util/surveyGizmo/redirectProxy
- Fields To Pass: use the following settings. Please note that the text entered needs to follow the exact uppercase and lowercase letter format.
Set up your Intro page, first Question page, and Thank You message page as normal.
- Click View Settings on the top right of the page.
- Check the checkboxes for the following settings:
- Page IDs
- QID
- Q Comments
- Disabled Questions
- Logic Conditions
- Answer Options
Additional Template Survey Tips
Check the following:
- Make this the main survey.
- No, don’t Encrypt response data.
- Automatically sync reporting values and option titles.
- Prevent duplicates with a browser cookie, allowing one response per computer.
- Response Settings. Check the following:
- Yes, this is a forward-only survey.
- Only logged-in Alchemer users can access uploaded respondent files
Style Tab
- Click on “Style”
- Click on “Text”
- Click on “Text Options”
- Leave all but “Show Required Asterisks” unchecked.
