The article describes the member experience of reserving and participating in Live Event sessions.
Reserve a Session
When the member is viewing a FC Live activity, they will see all available dates and times that other members have not reserved.
To reserve a session, the member selects a date and time. Once reserved, the member can download an event reminder for their calendar. In addition, an email confirmation will be sent to the member.
Members can cancel or change their reservations at any time.
Participate in a Session
Members will receive an email reminder 60 minutes before the session's start time. This email will include a link to the activity where they can join the session. In addition, if the member goes to the activity page less than 60 minutes before the session begins, a “Join Now” button will display on the page that allows them to join the waiting room.
Once the member is allowed to join, the session opens in a new browser tab where the member’s name and generated user ID email will be displayed. Members must agree to the Privacy Policy. Moderators will then let them into the room.
The moderator and member will have a conversation and when done, members can close the interview tab.

If a member is joining from an office or other professional environment, audio and video might be blocked by an internal firewall. Moderators can send a tech check ahead of the call to confirm there are no issues.
